Brian Latham
Brian Latham studied at the Royal College of Art and worked as an artistic designer for many years. He moved to the West Country 15 years ago and has found the Tamar Valley and the surrounding moors stimulating subject matter for painting. Brian uses on-the-spot sketches and photographs to provide the basis for a free interpretation of the sweep and structure of landscapes. The texture of loosely applied brushwork bestows a freshness to the painting.
Brian also produces nude studies, aiming at a freedom of expression. He can be contacted via Tamar Valley Art.
