Carol Banks
Carol Banks lives in the Tamar Valley from where she strives to portray the beauty of her environment, its changing light, vegetation and especially the rivers.
Most of her pictures combine her Fine Art training and the wax resist and dye method known as batik, a technique which she taught herself. These works are all produced on silk.
Carol also paints with acrylics and watercolours, screen prints pictures and wall hangings, and enjoys multi-media work and junk sculpture. Carol is happy to take commissions and can be contacted via Tamar Valley Art.
