Caroline (Cara) Keane
Caroline (Cara) Keane, was born in Devon and spent most of her childhood on Dartmoor, She studied art in USA, Florence, Plymouth and Dartington. As ‘Stonecarrier’, Cara is well known for associated visual performance with a recognisable developing artistic style in her works with watercolour, oils, pastels, with gold and silver leaf and collages. Much of her work is based on indigenous cultures and their traditions and belief systems based in Mexico, Arizona, Zimbabwe, India and New Zealand, although her great love in life is Dartmoor and the Tamar Valley in the South West Peninsula.
