Ian Pethers
Born in London in 1956, Ian grew up in Buckinghamshire and his early works depict scenes along the Upper Thames where he worked as an assistant lock-keeper for 13 years.
Ian first visited Cornwall at the age of 11 when he took up painting as a serious hobby and moved here permanently in 1990. He has exhibited at London exhibitions since 1985 and is an associate of the Royal Miniature Society. Subjects include landscapes, seascapes, architecture, botany and mythology as well as illustration work for local authorities. Ian is happy to undertake commissions.
