Wendy Yelland
Wendy Yelland is a popular artist with many successful exhibitions to her name. She is well known for finely detailed traditional landscapes and botanical studies. Without formal training her works have found their way into private collections around the world. The medium is mainly acrylic onto 250 lbs Bockingford paper. Born and raised in the Westcountry she lives in a small market town on the very edge of Dartmoor and gains great inspiration from her surroundings. Giving in to growing a spiritual awareness she finally allowed a freer style to emerge. Not observed in the usual sense, her work has become energy perception and emotions exuberantly painted without constraint and is full of the essence of life and beyond.
